MAGic Remote: Control Your Set-Top Box with Your Android Device
MAGic Remote is a free Android app developed by Infomir that allows you to control your set-top box of MAG series with just a single tap on your Android device. The app is designed with several button layouts for better usability. Internet surfing and social network users will benefit from the app's full-size keyboard and touchpad.
To use the app, you must connect your set-top box and Android device to the same Wi-Fi network. Ensure that the remote control option of your set-top box is turned on by going to Setting->System settings->Remote control. The app is compatible with MAG245, MAG245D, MAG250, MAG254, MAG255, MAG270, MAG275, and MAG260.
The app works with Android 4.0 (all versions). However, it doesn't run on Android 5 and/or ART virtual machine at present. Infomir is working on this issue to make the app available for Android 5 users.
